Exchange Hearts is a resale shop for things left over from past relationships. A hoodie, a gift, a guitar that never got played: the relationship may be over, but the object still has somewhere to go.

Our Ex Files pair secondhand finds with their anonymized breakup stories. You get the object and a little context—not someone else's identifying details.

More curiosity. Less baggage.

We believe an existing object can have a completely different next chapter. This is resale with a storytelling twist, not a place to name and shame an ex.

Privacy is part of the story

Our approach puts consent first. Sellers are asked to confirm that they own their items and agree to share their stories. Names, faces and identifying details stay out. Personal stories are accounts of someone's experience, not independently verified claims.
